Day 1: Pamukkale

Stop At: Pamukkale Thermal Pools, Pamukkale Turkiye
Be picked up from your Izmir hotel or airport and travel to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Pamukkale. Admire its white travertine terraces created by cascading natural hot springs, and see the turquoise pools and calcium-formed ice-like stalactites and stalagmites. Check out Hierapolis, an ancient Roman city on the plateau above before taking a break for lunch (not included). Return to Izmir for drop-off at your hotel/airport.

Day 2: Ephesus

Stop At: Ancient City of Ephesus, Selcuk 35920 Turkiye
Leave from your Izmir hotel to explore UNESCO-listed Ephesus, once Rome’s capital in Asia Minor. See highlights such as House of Virgin Mary and St John’s Basilica - believed burial place of apostle John. Visit Isa Bey Mosque built in 14th century by Seljukian Turks renowned for their rugs/tiles; then check out a center of traditional local handicrafts; end with Temple of Artemis - one time Wonder of the Ancient World! Return to Izmir for drop-off at hotel/airport.
