Ly Son Island in Quang Ngai Province, is a lovely little island that is a well-kept secret amongst locals, few foreigners know about it. Also known as, Cu Lao Re, this tiny island, which only covers an area of 10 square kilometers is thought to have been created from five extinct volcanoes during the prehistoric age. It’s famed in Vietnam for two quite different things; a unique type of garlic which it grows an abundance of and its stunning natural beauty including mountains, mysterious caves and stunning beaches.
