The landscape surrounding the Reinefjorden in western Lofoten is straight out of a Disney fairytale. It offers a contrast like no other with steep granite mountains rising straight out of the ocean and a shoreline dotted by photogenic red fishermen's cabins. Explore the picturesque coastline, look out for wildlife and take in the spectacular views of the mountains on this relaxed paddle in the sheltered waters of Reinefjord. Kayaking is a way for us northerners to get as close to nature as possible, and we wish our visitors to get that experience as well. We will show you the area's highlights on this three-hour tour, tailored to suit those who have not tried kayaking before. We will start the trip from a quiet bay to familiarise ourselves with the kayak and learn basic kayaking techniques with the paddle and basic safety rules. Then, we will paddle around nearby islands and fishing villages (Reine, Sakrisøy, Hamnøy) or inside the Reinefjorden, depending on the weather conditions.
