Arrive at the I-Mekong pier and be greeted by your host at the Mekong Riverside property. A short walk will take you to witness the very special daily ritual of locals in Laos–morning almsgiving or ‘Tak Bat’. This is an integral part of the Buddhist traditions in Laos. They give earning merit, or 'bun', towards their next life improving their existence the next time on earth. After that go back to pier and have breakfast on the boat along Mekong river.
