What To Expect

After leaving Agadir, we'll be able to admire the Western Anti-Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be Tiznit where we can explore the Medina and purchase local silver Berber jewellery. We will then continue on, travelling through breathtaking landscapes until reaching Tafraoute where we visit the "Pierres Bleues", an incredible art piece made by a Belgian artist in 1984. The following day, we'll pass through Tata, at the feet of Jebel Bani and famous for its caravans from West African trade routes. We'll then have lunch in Foum Zguid, renowned for its carpets before exploring Iriki National Park where you might spot some wild animals. Finally, we reach Erg Chegaga desert camp to spend the night under the stars in a nomad tent or luxury desert camp. On our third day, after enjoying breakfast at camp, we drive with our 4x4 to M'hamid and follow Draa River towards Zagora and Agdz with their oasis and date palm trees. Later in Ouarzazate - nicknamed "movie city" - you can rest overnight in a Riad before journeying onwards to Ait Ben Haddou; listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site due to it having been used as backdrop for films like Gladiator or Prince of Persia; followed by Telouet Kasbah belonging to Glaoui family before ascending over Tizi n’Tichka pass of High Atlas mountains towards Marrakech where your tour ends.
