What To Expect

This itinerary is a must for Luxor travelers. You will visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses V, Tomb of Ramses III, the Tomb of Merenptah and King Tut’s tomb. Afterwards, you are transported to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut (Deir el Bahari). This was the only woman ever to reign over Egypt as Pharaoh and an ancestor of King Tutankhamun. Thereafter you will be taken to see the Colossi of Memnon, two huge statues from King Amenhotep III’s era. After this stop at Karnak complex where you get to explore its Avenue of Sphinxes, Hypostyle Hall with its 134 gigantic columns and more! You also get to visit Luxor Temple which is dedicated to Theben Triad and has sculptures by Ramses II. Lastly you visit Tombs of Ramses VI & III plus that of Tutankhamun. Each site comes with information from your Egyptologist tour guide and free time for exploration.
