ADVENTURE IN THE HILLS OF LUCCA TOUR.
This tour is a magical adventure into the beautiful countryside surrounding the City of Lucca.
You will get to discover the history, nature and culture of rural life in Tuscany.
We follow an ancient and rather impressive Aquaduct, wandering through meadows and farm land.
We arrive at an enchanting and fascinating spot, known locally as The Golden Words, this is where the springs start, that flow along the Aquaduct to the city of Lucca.
We head gently uphill, through peaceful forest, following a tumbling stream.
As the forest gives way to olive trees, we can enjoy breathtaking views of the Pisan Mountains and the village of Vorno below us.
At Vorno we will visit a local Agriturismo, where you will get to taste some glasses of their own wine accompanied by some tasty local products.
We return to Lucca by minivan.
