    14:00 - You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Gal Oya National Park by a modified game viewing safari Jeep.

    Considered as a major Eco-tourism destination which serves as the main catchment area for Senanayake Samudraya, the largest reservoir in Sri Lanka. The Park is rich in flora and fauna which is a sanctuary to 32 species of terrestrial mammals. The highest populations are common Langur, endemic Toque Macaque, Leopard, sloth bear, Elephant, Wild Boar, 3 species of deer & Water Buffalo. For birding enthusiasts, approximately 150 species of birds of 334 species have been observed in this region. Jeep safaris are ideal for catching the sights of elephants and leopards. Best time to visit Gal Oya National Park is from March to July.
