Nyungwe NP is a home to about 300 bird species among which 27 are endemic to the Albertine Rift region including the quasi endemic to Nyungwe NP, the Red-collared Mountain Babbler. Nyungwe is the easiest site to see endemic birds with an easy walk and well maintained trails. We spend 5 days in this natural mountain forest looking for birds focusing to the endemics to the Albertine Rift.
