***All participants will be required to bring a mask for the duration of the tour. Please bring your own masks and hand sanitizer as we will have a limited supply for those who forget. You will also be asked to sign an acknowledgement of risks and report any illness within 14 days of tour.*** Travel a segment of one of the most famous trails in the world to one of the Park’s most unique geological formations, Anakeesta ridge. Walk between the trees, through a thick forest of ancient, scented spruce and fir, past incredible vistas. During your tour, visit an Appalachian Trail shelter and climb up to a hidden, high mountain meadow that gives the viewer a 360 degree view of the sea of mountains that make up the Park. In addition, you will learn about this Boreal forest and the unique plants and animals that call it home. For your safety and peace of mind, your guides are certified as Wilderness First Responders and in non lethal bear aversion techniques.
