The Archeological Center of Ankasmarka is located 23 km from the city of Calca, on the way to the valleys of Lares and Lacco at an altitude of 3850 m.s. It limits to the north with the Nevado Yana Sumi, to the south with the Quebrada Qochoc and the population of Calca, to the east with the community of Pampallaqta and the hill Watapata and to the west with the hills of Qosqo Qhawarina and Toroyoq.
THE ANIMAL SANCTUARY OF CCOCHAHUASI was founded in 2007. Private family organization dedicated to rescuing animals that have suffered mistreatment by man, or those from illicit trafficking of wildlife, delivered in custody by the Ecological Police or the Peruvian Government.
