Overview

So what makes us stand out from the rest? On this day trip we will travel to rural and little explored areas of the Ria de Aveiro. We will discover the canals and traditional boats, which date back to the 16th century. The trip wouldn’t be complete without an unforgettable visit to a local tasca with a magnificent interior that resembles a museum and where we will have the opportunity to observe a range of typical utensils from the local area. The Ria de Aveiro has unique fauna and flora, where we can see storks, falcons and even flamingos. A special feature of this excursion is the combination of an alternative tourist adventure and a short boat trip for lunch at a restaurant where you can experience an indescribable taste of the sea. On offer are dishes such as oysters, cockles, clams, among many other delicacies of the Ria de Aveiro. Finally, we will head to see the famous palheiros (striped houses) of the Costa Nova, one of the many attractions in the beautiful city of Aveiro.
