Luxor is often referred to as the "City of a Hundred Gates" or the "City of the Sun". It was formerly known as Thebes and served as the capital city of Ancient Egypt during Pharaonic times. Located on the banks of the Nile River, which separates it into two halves - an eastern and western side - Luxor boasts roughly a third of all monuments in existence across the world. Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor 23512 Egypt

    Day 1Balloon, west and east.
In the morning we will pick you up from your hotel to embark on a balloon trip in Luxor where you can enjoy an unforgettable experience as well as marvel at the lush green landscape around. After landing, our delegate will take you back to your hotel for some rest and relaxation. Then our representative will come to take you on a tour of the Western Bank starting with (the Temple of Hatshepsut) which was built by Queen Hatshepsut during the 18th Dynasty of Ancient Egypt in Thebes which is now known as Luxor. The temple is renowned for its unique architectural style compared to other Egyptian temples located on the Eastern Bank of the Nile.

Next up would be (Ramsium Temple) which was constructed as a funerary temple by King Ramses II. It features large statues of him and also serves as one of his most iconic monuments. Afterwards we will visit Valley of Kings situated on West bank opposite Thebes (now known as Luxor). This valley consists of two parts - Eastern Valley where majority royal tombs are located; and Western Valley. We then proceed to Memnon which contains two huge statues that are all that's left from a temple dedicated to pharaoh Amenhotep III located in Western part of Egypt.

We'll then head over to East Bank beginning with Karnak Temple before ending at Luxor Temple which lies along the banks of Nile River in Luxor before returning back to your hotel.
