Overview

Once called “50 Switzerlands in One”, Banff National Park is an unquestionable 4 season destination. Overcrowded in summer but quite in winter. In winter, the temperatures are cold but with the proper clothing, it is so enjoyable and beautiful.

The Lake Minnewanka Loop is perfect for capturing the immenseness of the lake and the snowcapped mountains all around.

Explore the frozen Lower Falls at Johnston Canyon. This is a great relatively flat easy hike for all skill levels. If you’ve never seen a frozen waterfall up close, it’s absolutely mind-bogglingly (ice crampons will be provided).

You’ve probably seen photos of Lake Louise in summer. In winter, the lake freezes completely and snow covered mountain under blue sky during daytime are stunning they make a picture that's breathtaking.

During your visit to Banff, you will learn the fascinating story about Stoney First Nation and you can take Banff Gondola if the weather is good.
