Overview
. The famous Bridge on the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi is a powerful symbol of the tragedy that occurred as a result of World War II, with thousands of prisoners of war and forced labourers having lost their lives. This full-day guided experience from Bangkok comprises several meaningful visits including to a small museum linked to the conflict and POW cemetery. In addition, there will be an exhilarating long-tailed speedboat ride, a Thai lunch, a walk across the bridge itself and 90 minutes spent on local trains travelling along the tracks of the notorious Death Railway.
The tour comes at great value for money with no extra charges or hidden costs - you can choose to join other customers or go privately with your own vehicle and guide.
