Starting at 8:00 AM, be picked up from your hotel in Cairo/Giza by a tour guide to begin your full-day tour. Visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, as well as the Valley Temple where the priests mummified King Chephren's dead body. Get a close look at The Sphinx, the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and head of King Chephren. Lunch is included at a local restaurant for each person (beverages not included). Afterwards, visit Sakkara to see the Step Pyramid built for King Zoser, which is part of an important process in pyramid evolution. Also go to Dahshur Pyramids (Bent and Red Pyramids), located 25 miles south of Cairo; these pyramids are among Egypt's oldest, largest, and best preserved ones. Then visit Memphis City, ancient capital of Egypt boasting colossal statues of Ramses II and great Alabaster Sphinxes dating back to 3100 BCE. At the end of your tour you will be transported back to your hotel.
