Mina el Membrillo, a journey through time and to the center of the earth. Live the experience of visiting and knowing the mining culture of Cajón del Maipo and enjoying a delicious lunch at the foot of the Andes Mountains.
At the height of the El Volcán Mining Complex, we will begin a gentle 10-minute trekking to access the El Membrillo Mine, where with specialized personnel we will begin an induction regarding the history and culture of the beautiful mining enclave visited.
In this tour we will guide you in geological matters that are easy to understand and verify when entering this mining pique (horizons of our lithosphere). Calcareous formations (beautiful incipient stalactites) and we will observe the mineral vein directly, we will explain the existence and functionality of connecting interior tunnels within the mountains.
