Overview

San Francisco is known world-wide for it's place in LGBTQ history. Start your Castro to the Mission tour by learning how the movement caught fire during the 1960's and 70's in the historic Castro neighborhood.

From there we'll take you through the side-streets (so you can view some of the best street murals you'll ever see) to the nearby Mission District, which was the birthplace of San Francisco itself. It was here, in 1776, that colonists built a Mission to establish control of the area for the Spanish King.

During the tour you'll also be able to enjoy some great local food, including San Francisco's very own Mission Style Burrito, artisanal cheese and lovely home-made chocolate.
