Create your own emerald Colombian ring

Overview

We crafted a one-of-a-kind experience involving the art of jewelry! Through making a ring, you will gain insight into how emeralds became a paramount and invaluable gemstone to Colombians, and its effect on the nation's culture and economy. We'll be based in Bogota's emerald & jewelry hub, which is one of the leading cities for this type of industry in South America!

Itinerary:

We will commence at the Gold Museum entrance for an overview of precious metals and stones in our culture. Then we will take a tour through the jewelry district and Emerald Square to gain insight into the business and traditional marketplaces. Subsequently we will move on to the workshop where experts will teach you how to craft your own emerald ring; you can choose its shape, stone, and material (gold has an added cost that must be communicated beforehand). There are several steps involved in making a ring that you can participate in with Andrea's professional guidance. Finally, you'll wear your own creation - a Colombian emerald ring!
