Overview
I cherish riding a bicycle, as it allows you to experience the city more intimately. Bogotá is equipped with 535 km (332 miles) of cycling paths, and its nature remains lush year round. Therefore, it's worthwhile to familiarize yourself with its parks for relaxation purposes; the largest one being Simón Bolivar Park covering 113 hectareas (279 acres), which is equivalent to 1076 olympic swimming pools! This park contains biking trails, jogging routes, a lake, playgrounds, etc. You'll also find Virgilio Barco Library designed by Colombia's premier architect Rogelio Salmona here.
