Stop At: Temple of Horus, Adfo, Edfu Egypt

You will commence your tour from your hotel in Luxor after breakfast at 07:00. Our tour guide will then drive you to the Temple of Edfu where you can view the splendid temple dedicated to Horus, which is often thought to be among the best-preserved cult temples in Egypt. According to Egyptian legends, it was here that the falcon-headed god Horus avenged his father Osiris by slaying Seth.

Stop At: Temple of Kom Ombo, Nagoa Ash Shatb, Kom Ombo 81611 Egypt

Afterwards head over toKom ambo city and visit the Temple of Koum Oumbo situated atop a high ground overlooking the Nile. It stands out from other temples due to its two entrances each one devoted to its own deity namely; “Haroeris” with his falcon head and ” Sobek ” with his crocodile head. The structure was built as an ode to two gods – Sobek who represented fertility and creator of the universe and Haroeris who took form as an ancient falcon-headed Horus. Aside from this another noteworthy feature inside this temple is its huge sugar-cane field.
