• Lunch Box Included
At 7:00 am, Emo Tour's guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luxor and transfer by Private A/C Vehicle to Edfu, which is approximately 50 minutes away. Upon arrival in Edfu, you can explore the majestic Temple of Edfu that is dedicated to Horus - considered by many as the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt. According to the Egyptian myths, it was there that falcon-headed god Horus revenged his father Osiris' murder by killing Seth. A lunch box is included.
You'll then continue your day tour to Kom Ombo, about 45 minutes drive from Eduf. At this site stands the Temple of Kom Ombo, situated on high grounds overlooking The Nile. It differs from other temples because its entrance is divided into two parts - one for "Haroeris" with his falcon head and the other for "Sobek" with his crocodile head; both deities were honored at this temple. Additionally, Kom Ombo's importance lies in its huge sugar cane production.
Around 16:30 pm, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Luxor. You'll have a private knowledgeable guide accompanying you throughout the tour until returning back to Luxor.
