You will have a taste of glamor, fashion and the life at Tjolöholms castle during the 1920s. To further enhance the experience, visitors are also invited to silent movies & jazz music.
The Tjolöholm Castle was built between 1898 and 1904 and is a bastion of faithfulness to traditional methods of manufacturing. Tjolöholm is the best preserved arts & crafts castle in Sweden. It sits in beautiful nature close to the sea. A walk is recommended and we'll have a delicious lunch!
Please inform us if you wish to book a Classic tour of the castle instead of the one focusing on the 1920s exhibition. The classic tour has more focus on the history and interior of the castle.
On our way back to Gothenburg we will make a stop at Bräutigams, which is a confectionery who offer delicious marsipan, fudge and chocolate.
PS – the tours are held in Swedish but room descriptions in English, French or German are available. The guide can of course always answer questions in English along the tour.
