A day tour program to explore the wonderful ancient monuments and tourist sights of Egypt is offered. You will begin in Sohag with a professional Tour-Guide, visiting Osiris temple and Abydos temple. After that, you will travel to Qena for a visit to Dendera temple before returning back to Luxor.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product:

Stop At: Abydos, Al Balyana, Sohag Egypt

Our guide will meet you at your hotel lobby at 6:00 am and provide full attention throughout the tour. As we drive to our first destination of Abydos, your guide will talk about all the sights along the way and other aspects of the tour that you may be interested in. In Abydos, visit the Temple of Seti I which was built by King SETI I and completed by King Ramses II. This temple is located 420 km south of Cairo in Sohag Government and 135 km from Luxor; it contains some of the best preserved paintings of Gods and Pharaohs in Egypt. Then continue to Dendera to see the Temple of Hathor – goddess of love and joy. After exploring these sites, return back comfortably to your hotel in Luxor.

Abydos is one of the oldest cities in ancient Egypt situated 11 kilometers west from Nile with latitude 26° 10' N near el-'Araba el Madfuna and al-Balyana.

Stop At: Dendera Temple Complex, Dendera Egypt

Dendera houses a temple dedicated to Goddess Hathor where priests used to bring her statue from crypt through corridors leading up to roof before dawn broke every day as sunrise unveiled her statue. < br >< br > Duration : 2 hours
