Explore the famous megalithic statues, while I am going to teach you about my fascinating culture. Of course, it is possible to visit the sites on one's own, by renting a car or a bicycle (although the short hills are pretty steep). However, a guided tour with a local Rapa Nui is so much better for learning all the island secrets. This tour includes round-trip transportation to and from your hotel and will include visits to a few of the most expansive ceremonial complexes. I will describe the cultural and historical significance of what you’re seeing and a narration on the amazing archaeological sites you’re seeing and how they fit into the culture and stories of the people who populated the islands long ago. We are going to explore the northern coast of the island, and I will take you in places where other tourists won't go. See the major sites of Easter Island including Ahu Akivi, Rano Kau, Puna Pau, and more.
