With an approximate duration of 3 hours, we will start by discovering why they call this territory the “Kingdom of Stone”. The exploitation of aggregates is the main source of income in the region and the use of limestone is evident in the old mills (or what remains of them), houses, walls ...
We will visit some of the most emblematic and most beautiful geological formations where you can take some photos. We will discover dinosaur trails and fossils of marine animals. The “dry stone walls” mark the landscape and delimit land where cattle still graze today.
We will end at the viewpoint of Pebada over Porto de Mós, from where you can see the whole valley and the Castle, with its green tiles, dominating the village.
