Overview

Your days starts at Captain Jak’s dock, where you’ll meet your captain and dive master while being fitted for gear. Our first stop, Silk Caye, is about an hour’s boat ride from Placencia. Along the way, take in the beautiful blues of the Caribbean, the private islands, and cayes. Your first dive is the deepest, maxing out at 70 feet. During this dive, enjoy a wall dive of the healthiest (and second longest) barrier reef in the world. Expect to see nurse sharks, turtles, and a variety of tropical fish. After this first dive, we’ll enjoy a traditional Belizean lunch on Silk Caye. Then get ready for the second tank dive. This dive is nicknamed the “White Hole” because of the sandy drop which quickly moves over to a reef formation. Finally, we’ll make a special stop at “Turtle Alley” before heading back to Captain Jak’s. You will arrive back in Placencia around 3:30 PM.
