    Doi inthanon National park also known as the ‘Roof of Thailand’, which is the Highest mountain in Thailand, is part of the Himalayan mountain range, elevation ranges between 800 and 2565 meters. Due to the high altitude, the park has high humidity and cold weather all year round. The average daily temperatures are normally around 10-12 °C. with temperatures reaching zero during winter

    The main attractions of the park are the summit of Doi Inthanon for its spectacular views, several waterfalls, the two chedis (stupas) dedicated to the king and queen’s 60th birthday anniversaries and the hiitribe villlage.

    Today, the summit of Doi Inthanon is a popular tourist destination for both foreign and Thai tourists, with a peak of 12,000 visitors visiting the summit on New Year's Day.
