Overview

For those who wish to explore the local Egyptian cuisine in a safe and enjoyable way, we offer you the chance to try some of the most famous national dishes and drinks while discovering Cairo and Giza's squares and other major attractions.
Chief among these is Fuul Medames - small brown beans soaked overnight then boiled, garnished with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, cumin and sometimes butter. There are also delicious Falafel Patties made from dried white broad beans which have been spiced up before being deep fried in oil. Koshary is another iconic dish that consists of rice, pasta, lentils topped with a spicy tomato sauce as well as a tasty cumin sauce. Not forgetting desserts such as Baqlawa or Konafa and drinks like Tea "Shai", Coffee "Ahwa" or Sugarcane juice.
