The Planetarium is a sky simulator that realistically reproduces the starry sky, celestial bodies and astronomical phenomena on a hemispherical dome. Under the innovative dome of almost nine meters in diameter - mounted thanks to an original and unique solution in the world - there are 62 comfortable reclining back chairs to allow viewers better visibility. Each presentation of the Planetarium of Padua consists of a first part of a vision of the sky conducted live by planetarist experts and scientific advisers who, interacting with the public, introduce it to the wonderful charm of astronomy. (Lessons: 30 minutes) In the second part a film is projected - with an astronomical content - able to recreate on the dome scenarios and contexts of the highest realism, immersiveness and effect. (Movies: 30 minutes) Inputs at fixed times. For more information, contact the planetarium.
