Overview
Departure at 08:30 am, heading south, we begin by visiting the mouth of Oued Souss, discovering migratory birds such as the Greater Flamingo, the Cormorant, Bald Ibis and White Stork.
We carry on to Tifnit's fishermen village and explore the caves dug and inhabited by mussel gatherers. Afterwards, a visit to Youssef Ben Tachfine's water dam reveals a stunning view of the lake and spectacular landscape in front of Anti-atlas. Taking a short walk across the sand dunes of small Sahara will follow.
After lunch with locals from Berber village, we advance towards historic Tizint - view its ramparts, old medina and large market for solid silver jewelry. As Tiznit is renowned for silver jewelry fabrication, our excursion ends there before returning back to Agadir.
