A family favourite guaranteed to deliver fun memories, the Belgrave to Lakeside trip is amongst our most popular and the ultimate way to enjoy the lush rainforest, frolicking fauna and small village towns nestled amongst the rolling hills, before arriving at Lakeside Station (Approx. 1hr).
Experience stunning views of the beautiful fern gullies and tall mountain ash trees of the Sherbrooke Forest and ride across the famous Monbulk Creek Trestle Bridge, the longest trestle bridge on the line.
Passengers will disembark at Lakeside Station, located in the picturesque Emerald Lake Park, and explore the park’s attractions, including the various walking trails, beautiful Emerald Lake with paddle boats and the Model Railway with its 2000 metres of interactive miniature railway track.
While the locomotive is being refilled with water, guests can enjoy a picnic with family and friends, or may like to grab a snack from our Lakeside Tearooms before boarding for the return journey to Belgrave.
