Overview
This cooking class focuses on making fresh pasta from scratch. Each person will have the chance to make their own ball of dough and individual portion of pasta. I'll lead you through the process and offer help as needed. The main focus during our time together is one type of pasta, but I'll give a demonstration on how to create various shapes too. With my advice and guidance, you'll be able to confidently make fresh pasta at home!
In addition, as an experienced tour guide in this area, I can tell you lots about Naples and its surroundings; plus provide tips for your visit.
Moreover, I'm able to work with different dietary needs (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free etc.).
It's worth noting that the emphasis here is making the fresh pasta - so other dishes such as starters or desserts may have been prepared earlier (all freshly made by me) due to time constraints. Feel free however if you'd like to get involved with any preparations; all my recipes are available!

What To Expect
Our cooking course will take place in the kitchen of a charming bed and breakfast located in the heart of Naples. We'll explore the heritage of pasta, all its various shapes and sizes, as well as when to use each type. Then we'll get to work; everyone gets to make their own serving of pasta for lunch! Whilst the dough is resting, we'll enjoy an appetizer before returning to our tasks. I shall guide you through making your own fresh pasta by demonstrating techniques and offering helpful advice. You'll learn how to make both hand-cut pasta and also utilize a hand powered machine. Once we've finished creating our dishes, I'll prepare it for us all to share together with a glass of wine.

The duration of this course could vary depending on which kind of pasta is being made; so I'd like you to let me know what you would prefer and when would be best for you.
