This is an excursion you can´t miss. We will take you back in time when there were no machines and everything was handmade. This is also a great opportunity to see and learn about Northern Croatia´s customs and life, a region called Medimurje.
First, we will visit a small village of Žabnik where you will visit old watermills and cross the river Mura on an old wooden ferry. You will experience how flour was made in the old days. Visit the interactive 3D museum and learn about milner called Franc Zalar. We will tell you a story about his life and much more. In your free time, you can walk along the river Mura.
You will have lunch with local specialties. With a full belly, it is time to learn more. We will visit the last blacksmith in this region that is more than 100 years in his family. Unfortunately, there is no interest in this old craft anymore so better pay attention because this is something you will hardly experience anymore.
