    Overview

    You will be transported via a private air-conditioned vehicle to the West Bank, where you will explore the Valley of the Kings. Afterwards, you will visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut known as El Dir El Bahari. Subsequently, you will continue your day tour to The Colossi of Memnon, which are remnants of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III. After that, you shall be transferred to the East Bank in Luxor in order to continue your sightseeing for the day by visiting Karnak Temple and concluding it with a visit to The Temple Of Luxor.

    Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to start the day. Luxor is home to many incredible ancient monuments, one of which is the renowned Karnak Temple. This complex consists of various temples, chapels and buildings that form a fortified village - the origin of its name 'Karnak' in Arabic.

    Stop At: Luxor Temple, Luxor 23512 Egypt

    Built mainly by Pharaohs Amenhotep III (1390–1352 BC) and Ramses II (1279–1213 BC), this temple impressively stands at the heart of modern-day Luxor. Also known as The Southern Sanctuary, it was used annually for celebrations where statues from Karnak were brought along an Avenue of Sphinxes and reunited here during floods.

    A 30 minute river cruise follows before reaching West Bank to discover Hatshepsut's temple. She was the daughter of King Thutmose I and Queen Ahmose , one among Ancient Egyptian's greatest queens who ruled between 1478 – 1458 B.C.. Hatshepsut is also recognized as one among the first female historical figures whose achievements are known today.

    Stop At: Valley of the Kings, Luxor City, Luxor 85511 Egypt

    The Valley Of The Kings appears as just another sun-blasted gorge with generic red rocks but beneath them lie 63 tombs belonging to Pharaohs from 16th century BC until 11th century BC. Burials include not only pharaohs but their families and belongings too! It became a World Heritage Site in 1979 along with rest of Theban Necropolis.
