Welcome to Canossa, a land of myth and legends, home of enchanted castles and ancient villages. Matilde, a women empowerment icon from the Middle age, will be the protagonist of our journey. We will start our outdoor adventure exploring the ruins of the Canossa’s Castle, sitting on a sandstone rock, which on a clear day, will offer a 360° breathtaking view of the valley and the Apennines mountain range at a distance. This tour will provide you admission to the castle. After visiting the castle, we will transfer by car to the medieval hamlet of Votigno declared a UNESCO World Heritage. Today the hamlet is a place for Buddhist meditation and worship, open to every belief. On the last stop of our tour, we will visit a countryside farmhouse and taste some specialities of the Emilian culinary tradition, meet local producers and have a relaxed time in nature. Lunch isn't included in the tour's price, but deals are already set with the local producers.
