Located only 130 km from Santiago, Valparaíso and Viña del Mar are very close tourist cities, but each one with unique characteristics. Between hills and graffiti, Valparaíso is a port city and the legislative capital of the country. In 2003 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. On the other hand, Viña del Mar is famous for its beautiful beaches, its sophisticated architecture and its colorful gardens scattered around every corner. It is one of the most visited spas in Chile.
