What To Expect

This itinerary is a typical one for this product. Your excursion will begin with an expert Cairo Tour Guide picking you up from your hotel in either Cairo or Giza to start your full day tour at the Pyramids of Giza - one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still standing today. You will also visit the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren, and the wishing well. There is an optional stop for lunch before continuing onto Memphis, Egypt's first capital until 3200 B.C., where you'll find a Colossal Statue of King Ramses II located nearby. After that you'll drive to Sakkara, known as 'The City Of The Dead', and see Djoser's Step Pyramid -the world's oldest major stone structure built around 2630 B.C.. Lastly, you will visit Dahshur where King Senefru constructed the first true pyramid and see both the Bent Pyramid and Red Pyramid before being taken back to your hotel.
