A small group experience that offers an easy educational and sustainable glacier hike on the Sólheimajökull glacier with an experienced & knowledgeable glacier guide. This popular day tour is the perfect way to get into real contact with the true reason behind the name Ice-land! After meeting our guide at our base camp, we`ll put on all the glacier gear needed for our hike and head towards the glacier lagoon. We`ll go over the old glacier`s borders and get as close as possible to the icebergs coming straight from the glacier and explore the most significant disappearing ice features on the top of the Sólheimajökull glacier! During the tour, we will have breaks and plenty of great picture opportunities.
