This tour is focused mostly on christian dominion over the Granada city in XVI century, when it was conquered by the Catholic Kings from the last muslim dynasty who ruled in Granada.
The Cathedral and the Royal Chapel were constructed to underline the victory of the new rulers and to be a significant representation of christianity in Granada. Today theese are one of the main touristic attractions of the city, both are marvellous examples of architecture that contain valuable pieces of art from medieval ages,like flemish paintings or german sculptures, just to mention few.
The Royal Chapel additionally stands out as the final resting place for Queen Isabella and her husband king Ferdinand, whose glory is still remembered vividly in Spain.
