Guadix is one of the oldest human settles in Spain. The most particular thing of this city is its wonderful cave-houses, still occupied nowadays and that is the most characteristic point of its neighbourhoods. This monumental city conserves an interesting historical and artistic heritage, its fotified towers from 11 th century, from where you can admire the lovely views of the meadow, the city and Sierra Nevada. Guadix offers the possibility to travel back in time to know different cultures and civilitations just walking along its narrow streets and its big monuments. The religious architecture is the protagonist in Guadix thanks to important buildings as the Cathedral and the churches of Saint Anna, Saint Domingo and Saint Francis. The Megalithic Park of Gorafe is an archeological site acondicionted for tours located in Gorafe town. It is one of the best examples of the Megalisthism in the South of the Iberian Peninsula because of the quantity of funerary monuments.
