Overview

This tour values the importance of the first settlements in Guatemala City since the Maya pre-classic period. The archaeological site of Kaminal Juyú was the most important Maya city in the highlands of Guatemala during Pre-hispanic time. We will explore the archaeological site, the museum and we will climb one of the temples to enjoy the view of Guatemala City. After the visit of the site, we will continue to the historical center of Guatemala City and do a walking tour in 6 avenue to end at the main plaza of Guatemala City. Later before we end the morning we will visit the central market of the historical center.
