Overview

This morning or evening hike is a unique experience where you will reach excellent views of the city, learn about Phoenix and its history, discover local plants and animals, and get a good workout! Night hiking gives a different perspective than the known daytime views. On a clear day, the first thing you will notice with the sunrise or sunset is the changes in sky’s color as the sun moves below/above the horizon. In hotter months dawn or night hikes are a great way to experience the outdoors while avoiding the daily high temperatures.
