Overview

Experience much in a short time with our electric-bikes and local guide. This is an exceptional opportunity to take beautiful photos of the Viking city, Haugesund. We bike through the main shopping street, Haraldsgata, to the iconic Fishermen statue, then onward to the statue of Harald Fairhair. Learn about the rich Viking and seafaring history of the area from the vantage view of the straits that served as the highway of the seas. The tour continues through a residential area northwards towards Norway's only National Monument, Haraldsstøtta - an ode to King Harald Fairhair and the unification of Norway. Here we take time to take in both the monument and Korsshaugen, the stone cross that dates back 1000 years. See the local islands far out on the horizon as we cycle onward to the stunning horse sculptures, "The rising tides". This is a scenic and effortless way experience Haugesund! Duration: 2 hours including 5 min walk to bike garage, adjusting bikes and security briefing.
