Remerschen Lakes, a protected area that belongs to the Natura 2000 network. Come and visit with me one of the ex-libris of Luxembourg. Located on the border between Luxembourg and Germany, this place that was once a sand extraction field, became a nature reserve since 1998. This circuit is about 7 km long and presents a great flora and fauna richness. Starting next to the Remerschen recreation center, this path is easy to follow, we will circulate mainly on dirt tracks, and do a few meters on a paved road.
In the middle of our adventure we find a challenge with 580 steps that are optional, but whoever does it, will feel the reward of seeing a splendid landscape, composed of charming vineyards and hills. Along our walk, you will have the opportunity to enter several birdwatching posts and observe vegetation of moist soils. This hike is a roller coaster of emotions and awe of nature. We can go to baths in summer season and visit the Interpretation Center that is located in our way.
