Hagi Pottery has a 400 years history. It was born when lord Mori Terumoto came back to Japan with two Korean potters, Li Sukkwang and Li Kyong. The brothers opened a kiln into Hagi city and started a long tradition of fine pottery. All kinds of tableware are produced, including cups for tea ceremony. The tradition is perpetuating until those days
