With more than 300-years of history to draw from and an early reputation as a frontier town, people died in mysterious and bizarre ways. Adding to the stories told at sites where deaths occurred, the French Quarter comes alive, particularly in the evening when some visitors actually encounter spirits of all types. Of course, it helps to enjoy a witch's brew along the way for, as you may know, drinking on the streets of New Orleans is perfectly legal and a rather ghostly tradition.
