Aboard the small group (38 passengers maximum) vessel, Ocean Defender, with forward facing seats, plenty of room and shade, you’ll have a panoramic water-level “whale’s eye” view of all of the action from the humpback whales that migrate here every year to mate and give birth. From mothers and calves interacting to males competing for females, the certified Marine Naturalists will provide expert commentary and interpretation of the various behaviors exhibited throughout your approximately 3 hour adventure. You can even interact with the onboard whale researcher who’s there to record imprtant data on the sightings, or listen to live whale songs on the underwater hyrdophone.
