Surrounded by nature, we passed the Fajã Redonda Hydroelectric Power Station, which once reinforced the supply of electricity to the city of Ponta Delgada, as well as several boilers. We arrive at the Salto do Cabrito waterfall where, with a crystalline waterfall of about 40 meters high, we will have the opportunity to cool off with a dip in its natural pool. We will see the waterfall not only from below, but also from above, which gives us a different and equally spectacular perspective. It is a circular trail and most of the route is easy to circulate, with some stretches of greater demand in areas with greater elevation gain. After the trail, we have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we go to the Porto Formoso Tea Factory, where we visit the factory and enjoy a traditional tea. Then, nothing better than a relaxing moment with a thermal bath in the boilers of Ribeira Grande. On the way back to Ponta Delgada we pass by Lagoa do Fogo.
