Stop At: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley

Receive an early-morning pickup from your central Luxor hotel or cruise ship and travel by air-conditioned vehicle to the launch site on the west bank of the Nile. Enjoy a light pre-flight snack and refreshments, and meet your skilled pilot and ground crew. Listen to a comprehensive safety briefing before boarding the balloon's sturdy basket with your pilot and other passengers.

Feel your adrenaline surge as you ascend into the still-dark sky for an approximate 30–45 minute flight. Gaze out at jaw-dropping aerial views as the sun peeps over the east bank of Egypt's sacred river, illuminating mountains and buildings in its wake. Capture unforgettable scenes on camera while flying above Karnak Temple as it greets morning sun; Queen Hatshepsut’s temple bathed in dawn glow; Colossi of Memnon rising from nearby fields; and in distance, Valley of Queens tucked away within craggy mountains.

If conditions permit, float over Ramesseum—the funerary temple of Pharaoh Ramses II—admiring its pylons, statues & courtyards. A ground support van will follow you throughout & be there when you land safely back on land; receive personal flight certificate & souvenir afterwards. Return to Luxor hotel or cruise ship for breakfast & morning tour departures.
